Troba Farm Village is an eco-tourism farmstay and outdoor destination nestled along the pristine forest borders of the Anaikatti–Attappadi region. Built on the principles of environmental stewardship and open-air living, our farm provides a peaceful sanctuary away from urban noise—offering a space where families, outdoor enthusiasts, and student groups can connect with nature.
Our Story
Nestled along the forest edge near the Anaikatti-Attappadi border, Troba Farm Village wasn't always the lush, welcoming haven it is today.
Years ago, the property stood as a sun-bleached stretch of barren land. Dry soil, rough terrain, and harsh seasonal winds made it look unforgiving. Yet, its proximity to the natural forest reserves offered an untouched serenity that sparked a vision: to heal the soil and build an eco-conscious sanctuary for community, outdoor living, and learning.
The transformation began with fundamental earthwork. Soil enrichment, rainwater harvesting, and traditional farming techniques were brought in to revive the tired ground. Over time, green shoots broke through the dust. Coconut palms, fruit-bearing trees, and organic crops turned the arid clearing into vibrant, agricultural land. The return of native flora naturally welcomed local birdlife and butterflies back to the perimeter.
With the farm thriving, the focus shifted to building low-impact host facilities designed to work in harmony with the surrounding forest:

Camping Grounds: Expansive open spaces cleared and leveled for tent pitching, bonfire circles, and night sky observation.

Stay Facilities & Assembly Areas: Simple, sturdy accommodation units, group dining zones, and open-air halls built to host large gatherings without intruding on the landscape.
Today, Troba Farm Village serves as a dynamic retreat. What was once dry earth now plays host to National Service Scheme (NSS) environmental drives, NCC drill training, Scout & Guide survival camps, and vibrant family reunions—a testament to how dedicated stewardship can turn forgotten land into a flourishing forest-side retreat.
